London, July 02, 2026 – Yesterday, the city of London experienced a truly exclusive and unprecedented moment. A lucky few were able to witness firsthand an image to remember: the majestic Nao Victoria sailing the waters of the Thames and crossing the iconic Tower Bridge. This unrepeatable historic milestone marks the arrival of a legendary vessel in the heart of the British capital.

The Nao Victoria is the world’s only replica of the ship that, exactly five centuries ago, starred in the greatest maritime feat in history: the First World Circumnavigation (1519–1522), captained by Ferdinand Magellan and Juan Sebastián Elcano.
Built with meticulous historical accuracy, this replica sails today as a floating museum that faithfully recreates the vessel that circumnavigated the globe 500 years ago. Since her launch, the ship has already completed epic voyages across the world’s great oceans—including her own circumnavigation between 2004 and 2006—and has toured hundreds of ports throughout the USA and Europe. Now, she makes history once again in London.
Following her spectacular entry, the Nao Victoria is now safely docked at St. Katharine Docks. This is the ultimate opportunity for Londoners and visitors to step aboard this jewel of maritime history, walk her decks, and experience firsthand what life was like for the mariners of the 16th century.
