One of the UK stopover in the historic ship’s 2026 European tour
The historic ship will pass under Tower Bridge today at 2:15 p.m. and will open to the public in St. Katharine Docks from July 1 to 12
June 30, 2026 – LONDON –The Nao Victoria is arriving in London today, where it will pass under the iconic Tower Bridge at 2:15 p.m. before mooring at St. Katharine Docks. The historic vessel will open its decks to the public for unique visitor tours from July 1 to 12.
This highly anticipated visit marks one of the key UK stops on the historic vessel’s major 2026 European tour. Over the course of this international voyage, the vessel will visit more than twenty ports across the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain.
Nao Victoria is the world’s only replica of the ship that, just five centuries ago, captained by Ferdinand Magellan and Juan Sebastián Elcano, starred in the greatest maritime adventure of all time: the First World Circumnavigation (1519–1522). It is an authentic masterpiece of Spanish traditional shipbuilding, constructed with meticulous historical accuracy to faithfully recreate the vessel that sailed around the globe 500 years ago.
Today, the ship sails as a floating museum of this great historical feat, showcasing the achievements of the Spanish mariners who expanded the known horizons and connected the planet through their trade routes. Since its construction, it has already completed epic voyages across the world’s great oceans—including its own circumnavigation between 2004 and 2006 —and has toured hundreds of ports throughout the USA and Europe.
The Onboard Experience:
During its stay at St. Katharine Docks, visitors will be able to climb aboard, explore its authentic wooden decks, and learn about the astonishing adventure it accomplished. Furthermore, they can go down into the hold to discover what life is like for the young crew that continues to sail the world’s seas today. It offers a unique cultural and educational experience that transports visitors back to the era of the great navigators
The exhibition will run from July 1 to 12, daily from 10 am to 8.30 pm. AN EXCLUSIVE ONLINE DISCOUNT WILL BE OFFERED TO EVERYONE WHO BUYS THEIR TICKETS ONLINE.
