An historical Spanish nao (carrack) and a Portuguese caravel that ruled the oceans, discovered new worlds and opened new routes on the sea that would connect the whole planet during XV and XVI centuries.
They are the caravel Boa Esperança, the replica of the Portuguese ship used by Bartolomé Díaz when he passed the Cape of Good Hope in 1488, and the Nao Victoria, the replica of the Spanish vessel that some years later (1529 – 1522) achieved the first tour around the world in history with the work of two captains: Ferdinand Magellan and Juan and Sebastián Elcano.
Both ships are sailing togheter for the first time on a European Tour named Ships of Discovery Tour 2017, calling in ports of Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, France, England and Spain.
