The Nao Santa María will dock for the first time in the city of Mataró. It will do so from July 25-29 at the Mataró Marina Barcelona de Varador 2000 sailing base, coinciding with the city’s biggest festival. The arrival of this historic vessel in Mataró is a complement to the Maresmar maritime festival Encuentro de Centenarios 2018 that Varador 2000 has organized this summer with a great success of public and participation of historic vessels. The boat can be visited by the public of Mataró and all the towns of Maresme during the five days mentioned above, uninterruptedly from 10 in the morning until 9 at night.

Visitors can visit the decks and the cellars of this impressive ship, authentic floating museum and masterpiece of riverbank carpentry. The visit of this boat only has a similar precedent in the Maresme: the Galeón Andalucía, which also remained in Mataró Marina Barcelona for a few days last March as a prelude to the Maresmar and which also belongs to the Nao Victoria Foundation, an entity without profit-making whose objective is to share the Spanish maritime culture of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries that changed the history of the world.

The prices contemplated to access the boat are € 4 for adults, € 2 for children (5-10 years) and family € 10 (2 adults and up to 3 children).
