The Galeón Andalucía arrived last November 1 at the port of Barcelona (in front of the Maremagnum). The city of Barcelona will be the last port of the 2018 tour. There, she will remain moored until next December 31st, closing a year in which the ship, a replica of the Spanish galleons of the 16th and 17th centuries, has sailed along the coasts from 4 countries (Germany, France, England and Spain) in which she has visited a total of 26 cities hosting more than 100,000 people on their decks.
A year in which the Spanish ship, managed by the Nao Victoria Foundation, has participated in prestigious international festivals such as the Brixham Festival in England, Sables D’Olone in France, Bremerhaven in Germany, as well as maritime festivals in Spanish cities such as Gijón or Málaga, before going to Barcelona, where a great and profitable season will come to a close.
Soon will be public cities and countries to which the Galleon will bow in this next 2019.
