Sail with “La Mona”, Classic wooden Sailboat Dossier Velero Clásico Mona
The Nao Victoria Foundation manages “La Mona”, a Gaff Cutter recreational craft that owes its name to the peculiar design of the stern that gives it its wooden frames. A fully restored boat that maintains the traditional line and design, conditioned as a school ship.
The “Mona”, of 11.99 meters in length is classified as Class B by the Sail Trainnig International. Its handcrafted deck made of Iroko wood, its unique canopy with a striking ocher color and its interior, which is wide and also made of wood, make “La Mona” a classic boat of great beauty.
Now, for the first time in Malaga, the Nao Victoria Foundation puts at your disposal all your experience and passion for sailing in a classic sailing boat ideal for sailing with family, friends or groups (maximum of 10 crew members). A unique resource for the enjoyment of the sea and nature, where you can transmit to children, young people and adults, the values of navigation, tradition and respect for the environment.
On board you can make short trips (3 hours of navigation) or crossings of several days (Puerto Sherry-Málaga) as apprentice, passenger or in practice to extend the PER up to 24 meters in length.
Take advantage of the experience of our crew or be yourself the boss of La Mona, accrediting and demonstrating your skills.
